My Story
I have always been passionate about using products that would be kind on my skin and over the years I have invested in brands that have been “Green” and “Natural” only to be disappointed when my investment didn’t fulfil my expectations.
Through my research and training as a Holistic Therapist and having heightened sensitivity to chemicals found in many cosmetics and household products I have always been very cautious about what I can and can’t use.
Becoming a first time Mother exacerbated my feelings about synthetic ingredients, fragrances and chemicals especially as my child was also very sensitive and diagnosed with Discoid Eczema. I was finding that even products aimed at sensitive children had ingredients in them that were not entirely transparent.
Motherhood is incredible but I lost my identity somewhere. I became just a Mummy which of course is the best role ever but I didn’t want to lose that part off me that used to make an effort and felt good about myself. Happiness does come from within but sometimes an outward happiness triggers the inner happiness and vice versa.
My first purchase from Tropic Skincare was the Skincare Discovery Kit which I thought was ideal being smaller bottles and was not a loss if I wasn’t happy. I also for the first time in my life purchased some tanning cream!!! The reassuring part was, If I wasn’t happy, I could return the products for a refund – Not a chance.
I had already done my research on the company and what astounded me the most was the eco-conscious thinking and outlook which really lay down the foundations for their Infinite Purpose which is to “Help Create a Healthier, Greener, More Empowered World”. I wanted to become an Ambassador.
I believe and Trust in Tropic Skincare. It has had a huge impact on my life. I feel differently in myself and I feel confident in my skin something I had lost. But not only that it has gently reminded me that we all need to play our part for the environment and our planet. It has reminded me I can do that something more and be a better version off me.

If you want to learn more, I am happy to give that time. It doesn’t mean you have to give back by investing – that is up to you.
If you have your own Ambassador that is great, I’m not here to take your custom but it doesn’t mean you still can’t take knowledge from a different perspective or choose to shop with me if your Ambassador is no longer available.
Even if you do not use Tropic, I hope that you can still take something from the content I post. It can be a step at a time to make changes but first that change needs to start with taking the first step, which is what I have done.
